Street art used to be hard to find in Marrakech, but in recent years the scene has blossomed. Today, street art lovers can discover some stunning murals created by renowned artists. Many of these works now adorning the city were part of the MB6 Street Art Project, the first street art festival held in Marrakech during the 2016 Biennale. Here are seven remarkable spots to visit:
1. David Bloch Gallery - Gueliz
The David Bloch Gallery is a central hub for street art in Marrakech. International artists are regularly invited to integrate their work into the gallery's urban environment. Sometimes the façade is even transformed to showcase the artwork. A must for fans of urban art!
