Yidir grew up in Merzouga – one of the gateways to the Moroccan Sahara Desert. He has always found the desert’s sheer vastness, its peace and tranquility most inspiring. He was touring nationally some years with his band Imodda taking care of organizational affairs at Yoga Travel Agency Nosade.
A native of Marrakesh, Maha has always been exposed to different cultures, both in her international school in Morocco and when she lived and studied in the UK. Maha currently acts as the manager of the Heritage Museum in Marrakesh, which fostered in her an insatiable curiosity for Moroccan history and its tribal ethnography.
Currently based in Bangalore, Ritu Arya is a blogger, textile design graduate as well as a freelance stylist and design advisor. Since 2012 she spends most of her time running her blog RazzleDazzlePickle, which brings together her two passions music and fashion. Ritu is also one of the two co-founders of Drum and Bass India, a music community.

Ellie Cleary is the founder of Soul Travel Blog, a blog that looks to help travellers create positive impact through mindful and responsible travel. A Londoner born and bred, Ellie lived in Amsterdam for the last 6 years, and is now living the nomadic lifestyle as she blogs and travels the world responsibly. When not travelling or writing about it, Ellie can be found reading practising yoga, or relaxing with good food and wine.

Sarah is a Spatial Designer from Germany. She is based in Hamburg after calling several places all over Europe her home. When she is not designing temporary architecture, Sarah is travelling the world looking for the most inspiring designs, the coolest architecture and the nicest people. She also really likes puppies.

Pooja Khanna shares her passion for baking and all things related to food at 2 Bliss of Baking, a platform for amateur chefs, home cooks and food lovers who appreciate good food looking good. Winner of several awards she was listed as one of the 100 most powerful women in the UK by BBC Radio 4.
Nisrine Merzouki started the website Dinners & Dreams in 2009 as a journal of her favourite Moroccan recipes. Since then it has evolved into a vegetarian website filled with wholesome plant-based recipes that are simple and tasty. Nisrine finds happiness in creating a meal with whole natural foods that carry the promise of life and wellness.
Kate is a freelance consultant and branding expert. She works with fashion businesses to help them tell their story and grow their impact, reach and sustainability initiatives. Previously, Head of Events Marketing and Operations at the Ethical Fashion Forum, Kate left London to spend a year on the ground in India researching the impact our decisions have on the people who make our clothes.
After seven years of living in different cities around the globe and topping her experience with a one year solo world trip, Lara returned to her beloved hometown Berlin in 2015 and ever since combines her passions cultures, communication and writing by working as part of the ABURY family.
With a swiss mother and a german father, Nina has always been interested in different cultures and languages, especially after living and working in Spain for one year. Nina moved to Berlin in 2014 and studied anthropology and linguistics, before interning at ABURY and after continuing as a work student in content writing.

Patricia is a textile designer with a strong passion for innovation, culture and heritage. She’s from Spain but lives and works in the UK. Her love for design and travel is equalled by her desire to keep the crafts from around the world alive, by working with artisans and helping them bring their skills to a contemporary audience.
Harper Reid is a freelance writer from Auckland, New Zealand who loves taking impromptu road trips down New Zealand’s beautiful scenic routes. When she goes overseas, she enjoys sampling local cuisine and exploring the charming, lesser-known sights of her destination – with a particular fondness for food markets.
Graduate student at The American University of Paris with a passion for sustainable fashion joined the ABURY team in 2016 in efforts to gain hands-on experience and a first look into the authenticity of ‘true’ fashion. After interning at ABURY she completed her studies of a Master’s in Global Communications with a focus in sustainability.
Patrick Rosenthal is freelancing as a food photographer developing recipes for various companies. He is also the owner of “Workshops & Retreats”, a company offering workshops for bloggers. In January 2016 his first book “Ich machs mir einfach - einfach lecker” (“Keeping it simple - simply delicious”) was published. Patrick Rosenthal is owner of the blog www.patrickrosenthal.de.
Brittnay is an Aussie and one half of The Travelling House Sitters. She lived in London for the past two years before making the move to Dublin. She managed to squeeze in 21 trips to Europe & Africa in that time (including lots of cheese, wine & beaches).
Lynn Sheppard lived full-time in Essaouira for more than two years, travel writing, supporting local non-profits, blogging and becoming an expert on all things Swiri (ie. Essaouiran). Lynn now divides her time between Essaouira and Edinburgh, where she is studying Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies.
Mandy Sinclair is the owner of Tasting Marrakech (food and cultural tours of Jemaa el Fna) and founder and managing director of Say Something Communication, a PR agency in Marrakech specialising in travel and lifestyle. She arrived in Marrakech Morocco in 2011 for five months and just hasn’t been able to leave!
Manmohan Singh is a passionate Yogi, Yoga Teacher and a Traveller in India. He provides Yoga Teacher Training in India. He loves writing and reading books related to yoga, health, nature and the Himalayas.
A born nomad, Om is always on the lookout for interesting places to visit. It took him 25 years of his life to realize where his true calling lies, but once that was done, there’s been no looking back. Since the last ten years that he is on the go, he has been sharing his travel experiences by writing about them. Currently, he's blogging at Wanderlust Yoga Retreats.

Born in Berlin but raised in Slovakia, Rebeka loves exploring the world across borders. After living in a small city in the Netherlands and being captivated by the diversity of cultures, she felt the need to explore more, which is why she worked an online marketing intern at ABURY in Berlin in 2018.
