With a full scholarship, you enable a disadvantaged girl from Morocco to participate in the Girls Gearing Up Academy in Berlin: including flights, visa, accommodation, and the entire academy program.

She will take home new skills, more self-confidence, and friendships with girls from all over the world.

The ABURY Girls Gearing Up Academy

Worldwide, women remain heavily underrepresented in leadership positions, and this gap often begins during their teenage years. When young girls lack role models and support during this formative phase, a great deal of potential simply remains untapped.

This is precisely where the ABURY Girls Gearing Up Academy comes in: an intensive, week-long leadership academy in Berlin that brings together teenage girls from all over the world. Workshops, hands-on challenges, visits to inspiring organizations, and personal mentoring provide the participants with what they truly need: self-confidence, practical skills, and a strong network.

Since 2023, the ABURY scholarship has made it possible for girls from Morocco to participate, covering everything involved: travel, visa, and the program. We have been able to award eleven scholarships since then. For many of the girls, it was their first-ever flight and the beginning of a whole new perspective on their own future.
