A young woman’s safe journey to the Academy for eight months.

For many young women from the villages around Marrakesh, the path to a better future begins with a long journey. They spend up to 1.5 hours travelling each day to attend the ABURY Hospitality Academy.

With €60, you can fund a young woman’s journey to the Academy for one month. The training programme lasts eight months. With €480, you can therefore support her all the way to graduation. This will enable her to complete her training, develop new prospects and move closer to her dream of earning her own income and achieving financial independence.

The ABURY Hospitality Academy Marrakech

In Morocco, young women are particularly affected by unemployment, while at the same time, the tourism sector is suffering from an acute shortage of skilled workers. This is exactly where AHAM comes in: it provides young women between the ages of 18 and 25 with targeted training for entry into the hotel and catering industry.

In nine months, the participants acquire practical knowledge in the kitchen, service, and housekeeping, as well as English, digital, and leadership skills. Through internships with partners such as 25hours Hotels, NENI Restaurants, and the École hôtelière de Lausanne, genuine career prospects are created that go beyond their first job.
