A teacher for an hour – ABURY Hospitality Academy

€25.00
One hour. A wealth of knowledge shared.

Whether it’s English, IT, Food & Beverage or Housekeeping: our teachers Mona, Fatima, Rkia and Soukaina bring knowledge, experience and a great deal of passion to the Academy.

Your donation covers one teacher’s salary for one hour. That is the time she spends teaching the young women at the Hospitality Academy what they need to know to start their careers in the hotel and hospitality industry.

Nine months of training consist of many individual lessons. With your donation, one of them will be yours.

The ABURY Hospitality Academy Marrakech

In Morocco, young women are particularly affected by unemployment, while at the same time, the tourism sector is suffering from an acute shortage of skilled workers. This is exactly where AHAM comes in: it provides young women between the ages of 18 and 25 with targeted training for entry into the hotel and catering industry.

In nine months, the participants acquire practical knowledge in the kitchen, service, and housekeeping, as well as English, digital, and leadership skills. Through internships with partners such as 25hours Hotels, NENI Restaurants, and the École hôtelière de Lausanne, genuine career prospects are created that go beyond their first job.
