Marrakech welcomes guests from all over the world, and anyone wishing to work in a hotel needs to speak English. Mona teaches the young women at the Hospitality Academy how to communicate confidently and assuredly in English: when talking to guests, within their team and during job interviews.

Your contribution will fund Mona’s salary for a whole month. This means that, week after week, the participants will have the chance to practise and improve their English.

The ABURY Hospitality Academy Marrakech

In Morocco, young women are particularly affected by unemployment, while at the same time, the tourism sector is suffering from an acute shortage of skilled workers. This is exactly where AHAM comes in: it provides young women between the ages of 18 and 25 with targeted training for entry into the hotel and catering industry.

In nine months, the participants acquire practical knowledge in the kitchen, service, and housekeeping, as well as English, digital, and leadership skills. Through internships with partners such as 25hours Hotels, NENI Restaurants, and the École hôtelière de Lausanne, genuine career prospects are created that go beyond their first job.
