The ABURY Teenage Girls Club

In many rural regions of Morocco, girls still have significantly fewer educational opportunities than boys, often due to long distances to school, household chores, or early school dropout. This is not due to a lack of talent, but a lack of opportunity.

That is exactly where the ABURY Teenage Girls Club comes in: since 2023, girls between the ages of 13 and 19 have been meeting regularly, supported by a permanent local mentor, to learn how to speak confidently, work together, and empower one another. There are now two clubs, in Douar Anzal and Ait Ourir, with over 30 girls.
