A Closer Look At the Red ABURY Berber Bag

Posted on 11 October 2016

The ABURY Berber Bag brims with worldliness and character. It is an everyday shoulder bag modelled on the original Berber Bag, the Vintage Bag. Back in the days, the old Berber Bags were used as a means to carry objects such as tools through the Moroccan Sahara desert and they used to be practical accessories especially for men.

Today, the modern version of the ABURY Berber Bag is no ordinary bag, because it combines historical stories with striking fashion statement. It exudes classy, stylish, daring and most of all passionate: Passionate about the incredible craft used to make it, passionate about modern design, passionate about the world. This bag is only the beginning to a unique story...

The ABURY Berber Bag can claim that it has changed the lives of many living in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. It is entirely handmade by local artisans using traditional Berber Embroidery Techniques. The master artisan behind these bags is Monsieur Omar, a skilled craftsman living in Marrakech, who ABURY has been working with from the beginning. Fair trade production is a matter of course for us.
